Ruth has lifted a huge weight off of me. I am a fairly organized woman, but cannot control paper. Partly because, as a historian, I know how valuable the printed page can be in the history of a person, an idea, an issue, or an organization.I called on Ruth to help me sort at least three years of papers that I had randomly dumped into six cardboard file boxes and stored in closets, behind and under beds, and in other random places. I also had nine large drawers in three different file cabinets that need to be reorganized and integrated with all the loose papers.Ruth swept in with her organizational mind and within a short time we had a system. Clutter to me is depression and I was so tired of being in that mood. Being organized is fun if you have Ruth. You don't feel intimidated by her; she will become your fairy organizer. Working with her teaches you how to start other projects on your own. Clutter and cleaning have always been an issue with my husband and me. I collect and have trouble letting go and he 'cleans' with no rhyme or reason. Most of our arguments are about this issue. Ruth and I did in 12 hours what I could & did not do in 25 years! I never realized how all of this junk overwhelmed me and weighed me down. I saved everything for any reason: I might need that someday; the kids will want that someday...I had the opportunity to hear Ruth speak and decided it was time to get things in order. Although it took me many months to get up the courage to call an organizer, I am so glad the organizer I finally did call was Ruth Hadlock. From our beginning conversation, I felt a trust in her and knew she would treat me and my neuroses with care. Ruth was amazing and literally changed my life for the better! In preparation for a move and renting my house, we had to quickly clear out four rooms (my office, two bathrooms, and my bedroom).
